I did that once with my ancient Maltese I had and I cut her really bad and had to make an emergency call into the vet.
Yeah, I'd say, don't use scissors.
Or...take her to a groomer but only one that you can see what's going on.
Some place with windows into the work area, not where they take them into a back room.
(I have a story that you don't want to hear).
So...good luck.
your best and safest bet is going to PetSmart or someplace like that and buying clippers with attachable blades.Cindi Myershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01475347748831862659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32438389452256998.post-39857836170547054422013-07-01T14:50:05.839-05:002013-07-01T14:50:05.839-05:00ok, i spoke too soon. heat wave. how do i trim mai...ok, i spoke too soon. heat wave. how do i trim maisie without botching it? tips?lesliehttp://asimplelifeafloat.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32438389452256998.post-24510904299078437452013-06-24T16:24:07.365-05:002013-06-24T16:24:07.365-05:00They all look so cute! I think I should shave Sophie, she gets so hot, and I won't let her out in the heat of the day, but then someone told me I shouldn't shave a husky (she's a mix of who-knows-what and husky) because their undercoat cools them off?
She is going to get wet today..it's bath time! :)
Happy summer!
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05175538922365254582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32438389452256998.post-89397210867042313232013-06-23T13:16:03.431-05:002013-06-23T13:16:03.431-05:00Look at those funny haircuts. She has a hard time controlling her temperature so when she's hot she's really hot. Now that I see Nora shaved I'm thinking maybe I should have Lita done.
