MY LAST ADDICTION
PINTEREST!
I have ALWAYS been addicted to magazines and then I can't bear to get rid of them.
I NEED them to refer back to.
So I have stacks of them.
I HAVE to save them so that I have all the pictures of rooms and houses and pets and art ideas and recipes.....yes, I said recipes! (OK, I've never actually MADE one of the recipes but I saved the magazines anyway)
AND NOW I CAN GET RID OF THEM!!!!!
I can "PIN" an image and put it into the appropriate category and have it all in a nice tidy place.
No more STACKS.
PINTEREST has broken my addiction to magazines!
but now has created a NEW one....
oh well, at least this one doesn't take up any space in my house.
(and I can Google any recipes I might someday never need).
Another mutual common trait. I can't have enough magzines. But now I cut out the pictures or articles I like and recycle the rest. I have new stacks of these to be organized by subject, 3 hole punched, and entered into one of many notebooks. My own magazine version.
ReplyDeleteYou have introduced me to a new addiction...yes I have a multitude of magazines that I just cannot part with! I will investigate this possibility. Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
ReplyDeleteYou are about the tenth person I know to develop a pinterest addiction!!! I'm afraid to go look. lol! But anything that gets stacks of ANYTHING out of my house has to be a good thing. :)
ReplyDeleteI started using Pinterest to get rid of my bookmarks. Being a visual person, the bookmarks weren't working as well for me as the picture references on Pinterest.
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, it's addicting. And yes, I have stacks (although they are dwindling) of magazines, too. But I do also have the stacks of pages torn from the stacks of magazines. And yes, the recipes that I never make but I keep anyway.
Are you my sister?
OMG - me too! And there are soooo many beautiful pictures to look at!
ReplyDeleteI don't have much on mine yet but come and friend me. you should be able to find me
