ANOTHER FASCINATING POST.

I've worked a lot of over-time this week. I'm filling in for one girl who's on vacation and then another one who called in sick. I think that burning the candles at both ends has finally caught up with me. I've been trying to just "maintain" things at home. I had also been working on a birthday gift for my niece at night after I come home and first I must care for the furry kids.
Today was her birthday and I had to work all morning and just got done in time to make it to the party.
She screamed in delight when she opened my gift to her. That made the lack of sleep SO worth it. She said she loves gifts from me because no one else can have something like it and it's homemade and she says that the BEST kind of gift.
I had done some transfers and some painting onto a pair of white Keds for her.
Did I take a photo? Nope, forgot.
But I will get one eventually and post it. This has been my typical behavior of late. I can't seem to "think".
Another night after work I went and bought flowers for the vet clinic, I usually do the gardening stuff there.
Do I have photos of the beautiful flowers? or of the garden centers?
Nada. Zip, Zilch.
Sigh...
Now not only does my head hurt but so does my throat.
Great! I have lots of plans for my day off tomorrow and I will be very upset if I'm too sick to accomplish them!
But I do think I just need to get some rest.
I apologize for my feeble attempts at comments and my lack of posts with any depth.
I'm off now to catch up on some Z's.

Hey Miss CIndi!

My blog fell off the wagon completely for many weeks. I don't know where the time goes. I haven't even been looking around. So saying, this is the first time I've seen your new look. It's terrific!

I hope you are well and getting at least a bit of rest. Working hard is fine...for a WHILE.

: )

That is one of the warning signs, not being able to think, before You hit the wall. So if I were You I would skip all plans for Your day of and just rest the entire time!!!!

No one benefits from You taking that final step into the wall and it can take years to come back to normal again!

So take it easy and do as little as possible for a while now!

I'd love to see what you made for your niece. I totally understand...when you have too much going on...you just can't remember the little things like brining a camera along. Some people may be able to remember things like that when they are stressed but not me. I love all your posts.

Take it easy, my friend. Be the slug. Loaf. Rest. Stare at the ceiling while you lay on the couch. You're a great aunt - the gift sounds so cool! xox

Sleep is the best medicine. I think it'll take me a year to get back to where I was before the season of the sick. Take your time. We will be here.
