Blue

Blue went to Heaven last night.
He could no longer breathe normally.
It had become constant gasping.
I had my vet release him to the next world.
My heart is broken and my life will never be the same.
But I was blessed to have had him in my life for so long.
Yesterday he was eleven years, 6 months and 3 weeks old.
As as bad as this is,
And although my heart hurts so much,
I would do it all again.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Blue had such a dignified presence. I hope you find peace in your love for him and his love and trust in you. If our pets had a choice they wouldn't leave us. Love to you. Jd

Blue was an amazing dog, and you were his angel on earth. Now he's pain free, but make no mistake, his spirit is with you and always will be.

Loving and losing is so bittersweet, but as you say, you would do it all over again because it's so worth it.

Dearest Cindi. Special dogs like Blue become part of our souls. Though his physical self is gone, his spirit remains. Close your eyes, take a deep breath ... do you feel it?

Sending love for you and the Littles ... Katy, especially.

Cindy, have been thinking of you and Blue and Jimmy Chew too. So sorry to read you have lost your faithful friend. The important thing is he is no longer suffering.

I do not regret the help our vets gave our family's beloved pound pals to pass over without pain, however, I could not talk my mom into letting me take her little dog to the vet for help when her time was nearing and that haunts me even after 3 years.

Hoping your life is going well. My painting of Jimmy Chew and the dog food reminds me everyday that there is a fantastic artist named Cindy Myers out there just waiting to become famous for her fabulous work!

Oh Cindi. My heart is breaking for you. They take a piece of our heart with us when they go, don’t they. Sending you lots of love from our pups too.
