Today Jimmy is SEVEN!
Minor miracle that he's made it to this age. I've wanted to wring his neck so many times.
Before I rescued him, I had rescued my little grey poodle and named her Vera Wag and I said that if I ever got another boy dog, I'd named him Jimmy Chew.
So when I went with a friend to look at a different dog at the shelter and I walked by him, sitting so sweetly in his kennel run, I couldn't believe he hadn't been adopted! He was only 8-9 months old.
Why would anyone get rid if him?
OK, I have had a lot of incidents with this little terror
where I was ready to ship him off but... Those are tales for another day.
He's made it to 7 and he's still living up to his name!
Be careful what you name a dog!
Happy Birthday Jimmy! Ya damn little crazy bugger.
(Doing this blog post from my iPhone while I'm at work, hopefully this works and doesn't post weird!)

Yes he is BAD!
At least he was good for his birthday though.
I noticed at the bottom of this post where there are links to past posts that I blogged on his birthday LAST year and he peed on my hoodie that day.
Yep, fresh from the dryer and he peed on it.
So maybe he's getting a bit better?
Since he didn't get into any trouble for a few days.
Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Jimmy says "Thank you!"
I agree, the years are just flying by.
Odd that the days seem so long though.
Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Awww...he's a cutie. And he doesn't look a day over six.

Because he's a little dog - and a terror - he'll probably live to be 20 years old too!

Happy birthday, Jimmy!

Thanks for the birthday wishes to Jimmy!
He is very cute and I must admit that definitely helps him out.
A year or so ago a woman came into the clinic with a sweet mellow dog that looked very much like Jimmy.
I told the woman about what a terror mine was and she said hers had been too. I asked when her little guy mellowed out and she said "Oh, about 10 years or so!" and laughed.
Hey, Thanks for commenting!

Happy Birthday Jimmy!

A bit late I'm afraid :-)

I'm so glad that none of my dogs have chewed on anything else than they've been allowed to :-)

Have a great day!

Thank you Christer!
and don't worry, Jimmy doesn't know that you were a bit late! LOL!
Yes, you are very lucky.
Actually most of my other dogs are very good about not chewing up stuff....
well except for Hattie, my Dachshund.
Thanks for commenting!
