Just a quick post.
The madness has begun at work.
It's filling up and tomorrow my Boarding area will be at full capacity
and it will stay that way for a week or so.
Also, my only helper, the girl that covers the evening shift, got thrown from her horse and her back and knee are "sprained" but she says she can still work.
I would tell her not to but I can't cover the entire day/night, every single day.
So... I told her to take it slow and if she can't do it to let me know.
If that happens, I don't know what I will do.
I'm supposed to get some help NEXT week but....
OK, I'm not going to think about what might happen because maybe everything will be fine.

So... I might not be posting anything during that time
and just sleeping.
But then again, maybe I will.
Who knows, but just in case I disappear for a bit
you know where I am.
Sidenote: At work I take my lunch by myself.
I usually eat at my desk and look at real estate listings
and then I started to look up cars.
But today I decided to do a little "Art".
Just a little illustration to keep my creative juices going.
I drew this little cat, colored him in and cut him out
and taped him to the edge of my counter.
This is the "cut-out style" I plan to use when I do my "Kanga" book.

I love the cat! Good luck. I hope the madness ends soon.
Yes! You're still creating, even when you are, "drowning, not waving".
Your muse is never far away, this is evident.
I love the wee cut out kitty. Such a great idea!
Your Kanga book will be awesome!
Your art is valued. You are valued. Remember that.
Please do what you can to get through the days in one piece. Keep nourished. Stay strong.
Keep it real and... hang in there :)
Sending good vibrations your way. xxx

I'm glad everyone liked my little cat!
:)
I'm just checking in here real quick to let you all know how much it means to me to have such a great support system!
You are all the best!
xoxo
My helper has been going to an acupuncturist and while she's sore, she's been able to work, thank goodness!
It was crazy busy today and will be so for a while.
But I do have some good news!!!
I'm going to be getting some help!
Not immediately but the search will start. So I can see that light at the end of the tunnel.
I'll fill you in on what's been going on later but gotta go take care of my own dogs now!
xoxo Again!
On one side it is nice to have a job and to be needed, on the other side it isn't nice to risk working oneself into an early death :-)
I do like that cat hanging on the counter :-)
Have a great day!
Christer.
I hope you survive the week. I think you really have something with the cat hanging on the desk. I think it's incredibly cue hanging there.
I can so relate to that little cat hanging by his paw-tips. Work has a way of making you feel that way sometimes, doesn't it?
Good to hear that you will soon be getting more help at work. :)

Christer,
You are very right.
I actually had a "talk" with the vet about my work situation.
I'm finding out tomorrow if things are indeed going to change or not.
I've been told they will and I'm "hanging on" to that for now.
Thanks for commenting and I'm glad you like the cat!
Nita,
I can kinda see a light at the end of the tunnel....
I'm so happy you like my little "hanging" cat!
I can't wait to get some rest and then some time to work on creating some of the ideas in my head!
xoxo
Grace,
Yep, I'm feeling that way right now,
just hanging on.
But I'm getting some help pretty soon!
Thank goodness because I was starting to "lose my grip"!
Thanks so much for commenting!
