Thank you!

For all the kind, caring comments on my blog post the other day.
And also all the sweet words on the post before that, concerning my Raini.
I have since deleted the post about what has been causing me stress, worry and sadness (work related) because I was worried that one of the people who has been making my life so miserable might find it and use it against me.
Or at the very least, take joy in knowing how much they have been getting to me.
Sometimes I think we all feel very alone, at least I do, and then I'm humbled and amazed at all my wonderful friends who jump into action and leave me wonderful comments of support and encouragement.
Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough.
I wish I could give everyone a ball of love and happiness.
I guess it would be wrong to send out kittens to everyone!

Seriously, thank you for being there.

So yesterday I spent most of the day working on my commissioned piece and I'm happy to say that it's finished!
I put a final coat of sealer on it this morning.
I wish I could share photos of the finished work but I want my friend to receive it first without knowing what it looks like.
A kinda surprise although she knows the subject matter.
She is currently out of town so it might be a while before I can share it.
I did work on other things, little sketches and things and as I worked I realized I'm not going to worry about how long anything takes.
I'm going to enjoy the process and just create.
I think Art shows that.
I mean it's better to let it flow.
Soon I will have my Art blog up and going.
Looking at the date of the last post over there.... It's just days away from being TWO YEARS.
No more.
Once I start I'm going to post everyday.
It will always be my art in some form.
I will keep the rambles and stories over here in this blog.
I'll let you know when I have it ready and I know it's a lot to ask but
I hope you Follow me over there too.

So, I need to do some chores and run to the store and hurry back to working on it.
I did want to share though, late last night as I was wrapping it all up and going to bed, I saw a little someone run across my work table!
I snapped a quick photo before he was gone! -

I know how you feel and having to delete a post. A couple of years ago, I had a similar experience. I was getting comments on my blog that were hurtful and meanspirited. So much so, that I considered quitting blogging all together. Even though it was really hard, I kept at it, and while I don't know if the haters are still there, I'm careful about how much I say -- Hard to believe with all the rambling I do, huh? :-) But don't let them get to you, and it sounds like you're not, so good for you!!! I'll look forward to seeing your artwork! Enjoy your Sunday, and THANKS for thinking about sending a kitten -- Who could ever resist that little cutie, or the one you snapped a photo of? :-)

Yes, a post a day, no matter how small and incomplete! It's the best way to nourish the creative part of ourselves.

I'm going back to learning to sketch, so I'm doing at least one small quick one a day. I'm making other changes in my life that are more important and time-consuming, but this one doesn't take much time, just doing it regularly. Yay, commmitment! Yay, Cindi!

I can not believe that you would ever have haters that left you mean comments!
That just stuns me!
I mean, All that you do and someone could criticize and be mean? Jeez!
What is wrong with people?
Actually mine wasn't about haters commenting on my blog.
I've been lucky so far but I do moderate my comments, so I would just trash a mean comment if I felt it too harsh.
No, mine was about my work environment and mean girls.
I'll just leave it at that or I'll have to delete again! LOL!
(I'm laughing now but I was very hurt and blogger friends helped my out of that)
and thank you about looking forward to my Art!

Yes! every day!
You have been my biggest cheerleader about being creative daily.
I'm still reading the books you gifted me!
and Vicki is an amazing artist and she said to just tell myself to do it for a few minutes, maybe 15 and it will get me going!
I will do it no matter what!
I'll make it part of my routine, like..brushing my teeth! LOL!
I mean I would never NOT do that! LOL!

Now you've got me wondering about your big life changes that are time-consuming!
Is it health related?
Hope you post about it, or send an email!
And I'd love to see the sketches too

Yes! I am going to try to always remember that!
Maybe I need a tattoo on my arm or maybe a bracelet to look at when the going gets tough.
I'm going to work hard on remembering that Art is most important and that mean people are just stupid and silly. and not worth my concentration.
Thank you for being there for me!

I know of a girl on etsy who inscribes sayings onto cool bracelets.
Let me know if you're interested to know who...

Sometimes I think I'd like to have a blog where I'm anonymous! I'd probably do it too if I knew how lol.

Good luck with your art blog Cindi! I for one will follow :).
