Just dropping in to say Happy Valentine's Day, if you celebrate it.
Personally I'm not.
The above photo is of my little Chihuahua, Twinkle.
Her sweet little face is showing her age.

It's been snowing and I'm not thrilled to see the white stuff.
I'm pretty stressed as my Art projects aren't getting finished as fast as I hoped and I've gone and signed up for a space at a big Horse Expo for Rescued Horses.
So, I guess I'm creating my own stress.

Also, more major drama at the day job, but I'm over that, although I had to go directly to the vets on this one.
Truly, I'm so done with the constant nastiness that I'm now to the point that I'm ignoring it all and if any more lies pop up, they can either believe it and fire me or just let me do my job and leave me alone.
I keep trying to use that situation as motivation and determination to work on Art but to be honest, it makes me want to just come home and go to sleep.
So I've really had to push myself and sometimes.... I just want to be lazy.

Yep, I'm a real humbug at the moment.
I think they call it "the Sunday night Blues".
I do have 20 illustrations drawn and waiting to be colored, cut, collaged etc.
I did get 21 of my photos altered and posted to my Instagram account.
I'll show those in a future post.
Oh! And I found a different print company who is reasonable AND whose work quality I'm extremely  happy with.
So there's that to smile about!

And, in regards to love...
Remember you can't buy it
But you can adopt it!

Loved your last statement. so true!

someone wise in my life told me a long time ago the following: "Never complain, never explain" I know how frustrating work situations can be, but truly, when I started following that advice life got easier. It was my mantra thru many a bitchy time and worked well for me. It lets your character speak for you and keeps you out of bad situations.

Sorry about the stress in your life right now and the negativity at work isn't helping. I hope you're able to find that balance and peace to get those things done that you need to! Hang in there, and know that from my little corner in Virginia, I'm sending positive vibes!

Thank you for that.
I will remember that mantra.
Friday night I did do a little rant on Facebook and basically said that - I'm done.
It's pretty passive aggressive of me but I had to get the words out of me.
Now I'm done.
No more.
I have bigger and better things to think about!
Thanks for your wise words!

I appreciate the positive vibes and your kind words!
Soon I will post my altered photos and 5 of them are Goldens!

you are stretched so thin.
your art should be a joyous time of creating... not a horrible deadline to have to meet! but still...
a wall. and the horse venue. it's all GOOD.
remember to take a multivitamin each day!
i'm glad you're DONE.
that place. those people. are NEVER. going to change.
I know! you can be like the amish.
simply shun them!
I mean inside your mind. just shun them! look through them.
don't hear them. walk by them! it's a perfect passive resistance to their poison.
i'm just too brilliant. i'm going to bed now.
love you!!!

Yes, I will do my best not to see them.
and most importantly, hear them.
But you are right!
There is much to be joyous about and one day
I plan to be able to JUST do Art.
That will be a good day!

Tammy beat me to the punch, but as always, she expressed my sentiments exactly.

I hate to hear that you're bummed Cindi. It's not fair. One of these days I'm going to come over there and punch anyone and everyone who is causing you grief. (I guess that's the Italian in me lol).

The quality of our lives depends on how we focus our energy and our attention --- don't throw away your personal power on pettiness. You have too many people rooting for you! Let us be the wind in your sails.

We're looking forward to seeing your new art work, but we can be patient. :)

You've made me laugh out loud!
Thank you!

Thank you for those words.
I will remember that I have all of you.
I know I do but sometimes it's so easy to get distracted from it.
I need to stay focused on my ultimate goal rather than all the daily pettiness,

I hope to post something soon!

Thank you about Twinkle,
I feel the same way about Maisie.
Yes, Sundays kinda suck, but hopefully someday they won't.
