Hmmm, then, I'm a clinomaniac - much to dawn-riser hubby's dismay.
Ever since I swapped out my old worn poly-cotton sheets for flax linen duvet, sheets and pillowcases, I find it very desirable to lie in for longer.

Old days of having our farmlet and feeding many animals has instilled early awakening in me. But, as the days grow shorter, and blessedly cooler, my natural linen envelops me and I snuggle down deeper :)

Great word, must remember that. Thanks Cynthia.
Kisses to wee Ruby xx

We had 53 in Sioux Falls yesterday. Sure did feel like spring. Hang in there it's coming!

Vicki,
I'm a dawn-riser too, but just because the dogs never let me sleep and once I'm up, I'm up. I never return to bed but I might snooze on the sofa! LOL!
Mmm, natural linen sounds like Heaven.
Ruby gave me a little scare last night. I let everyone out to potty and she walked through the room and stopped a moment, like she was dizzy and needed to get her footing. I picked her up and checked the color in her mouth and it looked OK. When I set her back down she just tiptoed away.
Sigh.

Lynn,
Yes! Yesterday we had high 40's and right now it's raining down on the remaining snow. But then it's supposed to drop down to single digits and formed ice. They showed the 2 week forecast and it's going to drop down to 8 degrees and be cold. Brrr. or I mean Grrrr
But yesterday I went and bought flower seeds and soil...so I have HOPE! LOL!

Oh, hugs to that precious little girl.
And, yes, linen is like heaven to sleep with. And, incredibly durable too, as Jack gives it a darn good road test - I let him sleep with me when hubby gets up :)

Thanks Vicki!
I hope you sometime post photos of your Jack doing the road test!

There is a name for what I have!!! I did not want to get up today. I had the day off and a friend called wanting me to go to the art museum. I wanted to just stay in bed. I got up and went though. I get points for that.

Nita,
Yes! Wednesday's I work a half a day and I had so many plans of things that I needed to get done and yet...I just came home and curled up on the sofa with my fur-babies.
xoxo
I'm glad you went to the museum!

Cynthia..oh how many times do we all have plans and they go to the wayside when we see our chair. Happens to me all the time. After work I say I am going to do this this and this and I am lucky if I get one this done! Ha

I sometimes suffer from that, unfortunately my dogs don't :-)

Have a great day!
Christer.

Christer,
LOL! That is the only reason that I get out of bed on the weekends!
I don't set the alarm then, but they never let me sleep late!
