Hey Lady, just read the posts I'd missed while I was away...wow, you've been doing some thinking!! I know what you mean by toxic people. Sadly, sometimes those very people are related to you and what to do then?? Like you, stand up and remain still even if your showing them the mirror, they won't see it. There's a very good saying in Spanish, "El Diablo no se huele su cola!" which translates beautifully, "The Devil doesn't smell his own ass!" LOL I can't tell you how many times I've said in it in both languages!
Keep on your path of self-discovery and stay on it. I think it's ok to take a short detour sometimes...get a new perspective on things but get right back on the road.
I didn't know you were on FB...I am too and most of my friends aren't people that live around my parts...except family..sigh! LOL
