AT LEAST IT'S FINALLY SPRING.

Such a beautiful day out yesterday and today
I'm so Happy!!
Nice to get outside and walk around the house.
I see the birds have pulled apart my soffits.
Noticed that my front railing is coming apart.
The deer have chewed off the bottom of my little trees.
I better get that fence put up this year.
The grass is growing that I planted after I dug up the front yard flower bed.
Guess that means I need to buy a lawn mower.
Oh and my driveway is almost all dirt again, I better get a big load of gravel delivered.
Sigh... no wonder I'm always tired and BROKE.
Oh well!
At least it's finally Spring.

This crazy bird is building a nest in the gutter above our back door and it keeps scaring me to death!

Good luck with your repairs. We have some to make, too.

Thanks Ricki!
It's always something, but at least it's finally warming up!

Glad you have some Spring. I woke up to big giant snowflakes. A surprise little storm for everyone. 3-4" before it stopped. Made for a nice slushy mess. Towns were not prepared, lots of accidents. It'd be nice to see Spring soon. :)

Oh the joys of home ownership. Always something to do/repair.

Sweet Blue looks very contemplative. Or, is he waiting patiently for a walk?

Denise,
Sorry to hear that. :(
Today the temps have dropped again...but at least it felt like Spring for a few days! Hopefully it come back.
Stay safe! xoxo

Oh Greta! Earthquakes!?
No no no, I'd rather have snow.
Just the thought of an earthquake terrifies me. Please be careful although how does one be careful during an earthquake?
Thanks for asking about Ruby.
She seems good this morning.
Kinda feisty, but lately it's a HUGE battle to get her medication down her. She no longer eats it with peanut butter, just rolls it out of her mouth so now I have to pry her mouth open and stick 3 pills down her throat, twice a day. I'm thinking of smashing them up and hiding them in her food.
Sigh...

Vicki,
I think Blue is thinking about all the stuff we have to do.
Yes, the joys of home ownership.
:p
I wish things came with a lifetime guarantee! LOL!
Sometimes I wish I could just move but then I'd still have to fix everything thing to sell it!
Oh well!
Thanks for commenting! xoxo

one of our daughters + her husband recently purchased a home. soon after we got a call from her lamenting that she has no time/money to do all the things she used to. poor innocent children - i considered forwarning them, but ultimately decided against it... homeownership is a full-time job with no rest for those who take it on!

Sarah,
Ain't that the truth!
I'm definitely grateful to have a home but boy, it is exhausting in more ways than one.
Most people understand that it's a money pit but I currently have a friend who is mad at me because I can't go visit her! She doesn't understand that I have to take care of things and there's just so much time and cash flow to do it with. She is fortunate, I guess, that she has someone who takes care of most things. I've given up trying to explain it.
I'm just happy that it's starting to warm up!!!
:D

Yes those funny and money draining repairs we need to do every now and again, I have a few too this year.

But everything always seems easier when spring arrives and summer just is around the corner :-)

Have a great day!
Christer.

Christer,
Yep, always seems to be SOMETHING!
Grrr.
But like you've said, it's much easier to handle when the weather is nicer!
Thank goodness for that!

Yes at least it's spring! I hope things get easier for you, it sounds like you are worn to a frazzle. A bit of warm weather does wonders for our spirits.
