How I Would like to PAINT!

A couple of posts back I was whining about how I painted everything kinda "cute" and I wanted to be a bit more "edgier". I got some great comments and I agree that there's no reason that I can't do both!
When I say "EDGIER" I don't mean gross or shocking or morbid, just.....
Well, maybe this will give you an idea of what I'm thinking. This is a video of EMILIE SIMON.
(REMEMBER TO TURN DOWN THE MUSIC ON MY PLAYLIST SO THAT YOU CAN HEAR.)
She's a French singer and I love her music and ADORE her videos! Talk about inspiration! I'm just going to watch them over and over and let the MOOD sink into me and see what I create....

So let me know what YOU think of the video! She has SEVERAL greats ones.
Well, I'm off to my "day job" this morning and then I'll be back home to CREATE!!!!

She's really good, and I love the video. Creepy, but cute, but creepy. ;) Go for it! I hope you get some time to paint today. Just see what happens. I need to do something different, too. If I get anything accomplished, I will post it - lol! xox Pam

I was unable to hear the video because my son took off with my speakers but I liked just watching the visual. It has kind of a dreamy Alice in wonderland kind of feel to it and I found it charming.

I've seen this video before...really like it too. I know what you think of cutsie-wotsie stuff...I'm condemned to it, but like you, I want to be a bit more out there, artistically...I'm already out there personally!!

BTW, just saw the cat on the Roomba...now that's just too funny and what a great cat!!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and let's see just how edgie the two of us can get!! LOL

xxoo,
Georgina

I like that video and the music! I´ve never heard of her before though. Music in french isn´t that common over here.
Have a great day now!
Christer.
